Performs the full range of duties providing support to an AFSS facility. Responsible for the day to day and long term programs such as orders, goals, quality control and training, plans and procedures. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Enters and maintains personnel training records in various computer-based systems (Trax, Staffing workbook, CEDAR, etc.).
Updates and maintains the training items in employee training folders (Pumpkins).
Works with management to develop the annual facility training plan.
Issues area knowledge training for all new employees.
Holds training meetings to establish the allocation of OJTI’s to new trainees.
Establishes and assembles accident reporting packages in APG4.
Continuously reviews work processes to ensure results meet the agency's mission and customer needs.
Perform other duties as assigned and as directed by management.
To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to an FV-G/AT-AG (D3)/FG/GS-11. Specialized experience is experience in an air traffic facility that demonstrates possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the level of work of the advertised position. Specialized experience is defined as: Comprehensive knowledge of appropriate air traffic control laws, rules and regulations; and experience with FAA platforms and programs such as OASIS, CEDAR and the eSRS program.
Applicants must be facility rated or previously have held a facility rating in a Flight Service Station (FSS).
